That was when we introducted Nature Valley granola bars as demand for natural snacks gained momentum in the 1970s. The brand single-handedly created this segment of snack foods.
We also market a signature party mix. The original recipe for made-at-home
Chex Mix debuted in 1953. Today, we package this delicious blend of Chex
cereal, stir-ins and spices that are a tradition at holidays and a family-pleaser anytime.
General Mills also delivers in other snack categories, with brands such as
Fruit Roll-Ups fruit-flavored snacks and Bugles corn snacks.
